To celebrate the Olympic Games, which are soon to begin, our Library has been decorated with flags from various nations as well as an Olympic flag, on loan from Mr Eric Verdonk.
Eric Verdonk has represented New Zealand as a single sculler, winning a bronze in one of the Olympic Games. His son, Hugo is in our senior school.
There is also a display of newspaper articles on New Zealand competitors, Olympic related books and information on the Beijing Olympics.
Senior students have entered the "Library Olympics" and are being timed to search for books in our library. The quickest will compete in the finals next week.
